Strategy and infrastructure for founders and marketing leaders who need to move fast and build systems that last.

Most consulting firms stop at the deck. We stay until it works — delivering the research, strategy, measurement, and software to run it.

What We Do (and Don't Do)

We are a strategic and technical partner. We do not run ad accounts, manage social calendars, or produce content at scale. We focus on strategy and building the infrastructure to execute it.

Clients leave with a working strategy, the measurement frameworks to track it, and the custom software or data pipelines to sustain it — without managing two separate vendor relationships.

We do

  • Go-to-market strategy and positioning
  • Human-centered qualitative research
  • Measurement frameworks and metrics infrastructure
  • Custom data pipelines and software
  • Automation workflows and AI-augmented tooling
  • Analytics dashboards and CRM setup

We don't

  • Run ad accounts
  • Manage social media calendars
  • Produce content at scale
  • Provide day-to-day project management
  • Serve as an outsourced execution agency
  • Deliver one-time decks without underlying systems

Why It Works

Our research goes deeper than surveys.

We use qualitative methods borrowed from ethnography — cultural probes, diary studies, contextual interviews — to surface the private behaviors and motivations that standard research misses. This phase often reveals that the real problem is a workflow issue, not a software or hardware one.

We speak both languages.

We work fluently with both marketing leadership and technical teams. That means no miscommunication between strategy and execution, and no gap between what was decided and what gets built.

We build what the strategy requires.

Data pipelines, dashboards, automation workflows, and custom tooling are deliverables, not prerequisites. If it needs to exist for the strategy to run, we build it.

Our Capabilities

Human-Centered Research

Qualitative research that surfaces what surveys cannot.

  • Cultural probe design and deployment: diary studies, photo journals, in-context interviews
  • Contextual inquiry and participant interview facilitation
  • Insight synthesis: pattern identification, anomaly mapping, user story extraction
  • Journey mapping and visualization
  • Research-to-requirement translation: findings become product and messaging briefs

Go-to-Market Strategy

Positioning, audience development, messaging, and channel planning — built from the buyer's perspective outward.

  • Audience definition: business buyer mapping and consumer persona research
  • Positioning workshops: competitive differentiation and pain-point mapping
  • Channel planning: organic-first sequencing, paid channel timing, community and watering hole identification

Software and Data Engineering

The systems needed to operationalize strategy at scale.

  • Custom data pipelines: ingestion, transformation, and warehousing
  • Dataset creation and curation: structured datasets for analytics, reporting, or model training
  • Custom software interfaces: internal dashboards, CRM extensions, and marketing operations tooling
  • Automation workflows: lead scoring, behavioral triggers, marketing flows
  • AI-augmented tooling: intent monitoring, predictive scoring, generative content pipelines

Analytics and Metrics Infrastructure

Measurement connected to behavior, not just reporting.

  • Metrics audit: identify the one metric that matters at the current stage of growth
  • Net Promoter Score infrastructure: survey design, segmentation, and activation workflows
  • Balanced Scorecard setup: financial, customer, operational, and innovation perspectives
  • Tooling: CRM and email automation setup, intent monitoring, predictive analytics

How We Work

Paid Entry Point

Discovery

Stakeholder interviews, analytics audit, competitive review, and research goal definition.

Deliverable: Engagement brief and scope of work
Phase 1

Strategy

Positioning, messaging, audience definition, and metrics framework. Delivered as working documents, not slide decks.

Phase 2

Build

Data pipelines, dashboards, custom interfaces, and automation workflows. Delivered with full documentation and a handoff session.

Phase 3

Measure

Ongoing check-ins against defined goals. Available as a retainer for continuous optimization.

Work that has shipped.

A few examples of what this looks like in practice.

Marketing Operations

Marketing Operations Pipeline

Built an end-to-end marketing workflow for a retail brand — from content strategy through daily operations — and saw it implemented and running in-house.

Venture Capital

Venture Capital Pitch Package

Developed a full pitch-ready company deck including a financial revenue model and forward revenue targets for a founder preparing to raise.

Retail & E-Commerce

Retail Web Design

Designed and delivered multiple retail website builds across different brand contexts.

We work with founders preparing for a growth round or companies who have inherited systems that were never built for scaleup.

Discovery

Paid engagement, approximately two weeks

Before any strategy or build work begins, we go deep. That means stakeholder interviews, an analytics audit, competitive review, and — most importantly — direct conversations with the people inside and around the problem.

Most firms jump to a technology recommendation. We do the opposite. We start by mapping the human side: how work actually flows, where people interact with the system, and what breaks down at those points. A surprising number of problems that get pitched as software problems are workflow problems in disguise — and a restructured process costs a fraction of a platform implementation.

We establish what can be resolved at the system and workflow level first. Software comes in to support the system, not replace the thinking. Once that is clear, we define what actually needs to be built — and scope it accordingly.

Deliverable: an engagement brief and scope of work that reflects what we found, not what we assumed coming in.

This probably is not the right engagement if:

  • You need day-to-day project management or detailed operational planning handled externally on an ongoing basis
  • You are looking for an agency to execute and manage the work rather than build the capability internally
  • You want a one-time deliverable without the underlying thinking

Our approach is mindset and environment first. Businesses that sustain growth do so because they have built the conditions for continuous innovation — not because they followed a fixed plan. We focus on getting that foundation right. When the environment is right, the day-to-day tends to follow.

If you need execution support beyond that scope, we are glad to help identify the right resource — it is just not where we focus.

Our Team

We operate as a core team of two, bringing in additional staff on a project-by-project basis as the work requires. That keeps the thinking consistent and the overhead honest.
